cooler than a polar bear's toe nails
I never really watched The Food Network or got into chef shows over the past few years as they've gained popularity.
I have started watching No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain however, and it's wildly entertaining.
It's on the Travel Channel so it's strictly not him working at his restaraunt turning out dishes and yelling at staff. Instead he takes his culinary prowess around the world and tastes dishes from the locale he's filming at. All the while experiencing the sights and scenes.
Bourdain has a great sense of humor and wonderful ego that keeps him speaking his mind into each episode.
He drinks and smokes like it's the 1950's and despises Rachel Ray and chefs(if you can call her that) of her ilk, bonus points in my book.
It's one of tv's redeeming reality series and a bright spot in this year's writer's strike plagued tv viewing universe.
